Somethings Fishy...

I’m avoiding getting to work, I haven't done anything work related today and I’m feeling bad about it. I did however volunteer at Venue a gallery where I have some of my work and then I went for a job interview. The job interview made me sad. It’s not a job I want and it pay’s nothing but I need work and I cant seem to get back into the Web industry so I’m stuck applying for things that I have no interest in and that pay squat. I guess I should feel thankful that I at least had an interview, it’s the first one I’ve had in 2 years. Is that crazy or what???

I thought I should upload some photo’s of some of my work. Here are a couple of fishys, I’ve been trying to make as many as possible, they've been flying I mean swimming out the door ; )

Dyeing fun

What fun I had last night! I was feeling down in the dumps but I forced myself to get out of the house and head over to Patti’s for our “Tuesday Craft Night”. Patti showed me how to die yarn and I just love the way it came out, I cant wait to knit it up, what cool socks they’ll be. I now all excited to die more yarn (as if I don’t have enough hobbies) so I can hang it around the house and just stare at all the wonderful colors.




I’m still have a few more bead orders to get out. One customer ordered a flower garden bead which I have made several for her to choose from but now I need to photograph them and send her the photos so she can choose one. My very least favorite thing is to photograph my beads, it’s so much work!!! I spend more time taking the photo, editing the photo (so it actually looks like the real thing) and getting it posted on my site then it actually took me to make the darn thing. I just cant seem to get the whole photography thing down so it’s quick and painless.

Busy making fishys

Last year I was on HGTV’s “Crafters Coast to Coast” which is now called “That’s Clever” well the show aired again and I have gotten so many orders. I’m constantly runny to the studio to make more fishys it’s been lots of fun and keeping my very busy.


I also finished a sock and it’s the ugliest sock I’ve ever made, not to sure what happened so I think I’ll turn it into a sock monkey.
